Testimonials
  • I enjoy the enrichment games in the 3rd grade classes. I enjoy the activities that encourage the children to use their imaginations in complex situations.
  • Our child really enjoys the games she plays in class, especially those involving imagining objects as other things.
  • The director is fabulous.
  • Shara has a great time. David and Shara play the games they learn at home.
  • (Our most positive experience has been) watching the children perform and enjoy being in front of an audience.
  • I appreciate that the children are occupied after school w valuable lessons, but not stressed. Acting up is a great way for them to unwind, and shift gears from academics to acting. I also love that they have done their homework after acting class. This leaves the evening open for dinner and just family time.
  • Friendly staff and owner who cares and is easy to work with.
  • Enjoy the end of semester performances.
  • Isabella hasn't been with Acting up very long, but she thoroughly enjoys the classes and looks forward to them every week.
  • The staff works really well with all types of people.
  • Fun way of helping with speech & confidence.
  • We haven't had any negative experiences and have enjoyed out time in class.
  • Interaction with Acting up is always positive.
  • My son has found his niche and his talent.
  • The kids love the interaction with their peers and seem more self confident.
  • I love it that my kids can come to after school care on just the days I need them there. It saves me the frustrations of paying for five days after school care when I don't need that many. Thanks! :)
  • (Our most positive experience has been that the) children have the opportunity to express themselves freely.
  • Very welcoming--eager to please the kids. Lindsey had her bday party there & while only one child showed up (besides our family), you guys made the party great! She was the star. For our first week of acting class last week, again, very welcoming. We loved the teacher & Lindsey left there happy & looking forward to more classes!
  • We adore Ms. Gigi and her staff. The biggest positive has been the change in my daughter. This is like Brooklyn's second family and we'd be lost without you all!
  • I can't believe we didn't know about you guys before, you're awesome!!
  • Thank you for having such patience and loving the kids!
  • My daughter enjoys all the shows and performance opportunities.
  • My son enjoys the classes and the time with friends.
  • Sophia loves attending. She has fun and wants to attend on a regular basis. That she asks to go back tells me she enjoys it and that's good enough for me.

Our After-School program will pick up students from area elementary schools and transport them to our facility. We will have snack time and they will then participate in Creative Drama Class each day, with time for doing homework after. Students will need to be picked up by 6:30 pm. Our program follows the NISD calendar.

Currently we are picking students up from the following schools:

Elementary Schools: Beard, Helotes, Kuentz, Scobee, Steubing, Krueger, and Wanke
Middle Schools: Garcia, Stinson, Stevenson, and Jefferson

See the After School Care page for more information.

Additional Creative Drama Classes will be held weekly. Children will learn pantomime, improvisation, voice and diction, among many other skills, culminating in an onstage performance at the end of the semester. There are options for each age group on days and times. Please see the link for schedule information.
